A perfectly executed game plan, class and integrity were shown in the main event of UFC 143. Seamless combinations of punches, kicks and unorthodox striking won this fight for Carlos Condit. Condit did what some saw as “running” from Nick Diaz, but I saw a well thought out game plan that was executed to perfection.

Condit didn’t let Diaz get in his head with his conduct. When Diaz taunted him, Condit tagged the former Strikeforce champion and brushed off each disrespectful action with class. The final judgment was clear; a unanimous decision victory for the Natural Born Killer and now the next in line to fight Georges St-Pierre for the UFC welterweight championship of the world.

Result: Condit wins via unanimous decision and is now the UFC interim welterweight champion.

Roy Nelson has the STRONGEST Chin in all of MMA
I couldn’t believe that Nelson was still standing after that barrage of knees delivered by Werdum. But time and time again, Nelson kept himself in the fight, even if he did find himself on the end of a loss. Well done Roy Nelson and welcome back to UFC Fabricio Werdum. My only thoughts are where was this Werdum in the Strikeforce heavyweight tournament?

Result: Werdum wins by decision.
