We’ve all seen it … a fighter is caught in a submission with only seconds left on the clock, and he’s hanging on for dear life, trying to survive.

He mutters something to the referee to let him know that he is still in the game, and the next thing you know the match has been halted … as the fighter pleads his case.

The fighter blames the ref, the ref blames the fighter and the crowd blames the event … but where does the fault really lie?
