Nick Diaz showed me something at UFC 137.
In the recent weeks, the former Strikeforce champ took a lot of heat for missing the press conferences. In the process, he lost his shot at a title. But when he stepped into the cage in Las Vegas for UFC 137, he showed a fire and intensity that showed he was able to move beyond the recent problems.
His unanimous decision over BJ Penn was most convincing, but we already knew his fighting skills were topnotch. At UFC 137, Diaz showed he is just as tough mentally.
